Ally Logistic Property (ALP) has appointed Annie Lim as its Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), effective immediately, as the logistics company strengthens its people strategy to support its growth ambitions.
Lim announced her appointment on LinkedIn, marking her move into the logistics sector after more than 25 years of leading people and culture functions across healthcare, life sciences, technology, manufacturing and professional services.
"I’m honoured to begin a new chapter as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at Ally Logistic Property (ALP)," she wrote.
She said she was excited to contribute to ALP's vision of "shaping the future of intelligent logistics" by making the industry "Simpler. Smarter. Sustainable."
Explaining her decision to join the company, Lim said ALP's "bold vision, entrepreneurial spirit, and commitment to innovation" drew her to the role. She added that she looks forward to partnering with Charlie Chang and the leadership team to strengthen leadership capability, develop talent and build a high-performing culture.
"My leadership philosophy remains simple: Purpose-Led, People Empowered, Performance Driven," she said, adding that her initial priorities will be to "listen with humility, build through partnership, and lead with purpose."
Lim joins ALP from global life sciences company Lonza, where she most recently served as Global Head of Human Resources.
Before that, she was Vice President and Global Head of HR at Hummingbird Bioscience, leading the company's global people and talent agenda.
Her career also includes senior leadership roles at Citrix, where she led talent development and diversity outreach across Asia Pacific and Japan, and Sanofi, where she held multiple regional HR leadership positions spanning diversity and inclusion, talent management, workforce transformation and talent acquisition.
Earlier in her career, Lim held regional HR and talent leadership roles at Pall Life Sciences, Adecco, Lee Hecht Harrison, SIM University, Esprit and GSK, building expertise across talent management, organisational development, workforce transformation and leadership development in Asia.
Alongside her corporate career, Lim has contributed to academia as an adjunct associate lecturer at the Singapore University of Social Sciences.
She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Business Administration at the University of Canberra, where her research focuses on boomerang employment and strategic HR governance. Her doctoral work explores how organisations can rehire former employees through structured governance frameworks to strengthen talent sustainability, workforce resilience and organisational capability. Her academic achievements include two Dean's Excellence Awards for outstanding performance.
