Hilti Malaysia appoints Reena Talla as Head of Human Resources

Hilti Malaysia has appointed Reena Talla as its new Head of Human Resources, strengthening its executive leadership team with a seasoned HR leader who brings more than two decades of global experience across Asia, the Middle East and Europe.

As a member of the Hilti Malaysia Executive Management Team, Talla will lead the company's people strategy, working closely with business leaders to enhance leadership capability, organisational effectiveness, talent development, employee experience and culture to support sustainable business growth.

Before joining Hilti Malaysia in July 2026, Talla served as Employee Experience Services Lead for Asia Pacific, the Middle East, Africa and Europe at Kerry.

She also spent more than 12 years at Vale, where she held several senior HR leadership roles, including Regional Head of Human Resources for Asia, the Middle East and Europe and Head of Human Resources for Malaysia. Earlier in her career, she worked in Risk Advisory Services at KPMG.

Announcing her appointment on LinkedIn, Talla said she was drawn to Hilti's strong people-first culture.

"Throughout my career, I've come to believe that leadership isn't about arriving with all the answers. It's about listening first, understanding the business, learning from the people around you, and building on the strong foundations already in place."

She added, "What drew me to Hilti Group was its unwavering commitment to a people-first culture. Joining an organisation with such a strong culture is both a privilege and a responsibility, and I'm excited to contribute while continuing to learn from an exceptional team."

In her new role, Talla will oversee all aspects of human resources, including business partnering, talent acquisition, leadership development, succession planning, employee engagement, organisational development, total rewards, employee relations and diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives.
