L’Oréal Indonesia appoints Fathimah Zahra Achmad as Chief Human Relations Officer

L’Oréal Indonesia has appointed Fathimah Zahra Achmad as Chief Human Relations Officer, marking the latest step in her eight-year career with the company.

Fathimah announced the appointment on LinkedIn, describing the move as “a new story” and “a bigger responsibility”.

She will now lead L’Oréal Indonesia’s overall people agenda, with a focus on people, culture and organisational development, first reported by Human resource online.

Eight years of HR leadership

Fathimah joined L’Oréal in 2018 as HR Retail & Outsourcing Manager and has since held several HR leadership positions across the business.

Most recently, she was HR Business Partner Director for CPD & Corp Affairs and Engagement.

Reflecting on her career journey, Fathimah said her time at L’Oréal had taken her across different businesses, teams and challenges.

“Careers rarely follow a perfectly straight line,” she said in her LinkedIn post, noting that each experience, challenge, and transformation can help prepare professionals for what comes next.

Career spanning Coca-Cola and L’Oréal

As she takes on the new role, Fathimah said she was looking forward to building an organisation where people can grow, culture can thrive and teams can continue to develop.

Before joining L’Oréal, Fathimah spent six years with Coca-Cola Amatil Indonesia, where she held roles including HR Business Process Improvement Manager and HR Operations Manager.

Her experience spans HR operations, business partnering, process improvement and employee engagement across multiple business divisions.
