Temasek appoints Wendy Koh as Chief Financial Officer

Singapore-based investment company Temasek has appointed Wendy Koh as its next Chief Financial Officer (CFO), with the appointment taking effect on 1 October 2026.

Koh will join Temasek as CFO-designate on 1 August 2026, allowing for a two-month transition period before formally assuming the CFO role. She succeeds Png Chin Yee, who will step down from her concurrent CFO responsibilities to focus on leading Temasek Singapore. "In conjunction with this appointment, Png Chin Yee, President, Temasek Singapore (TSG), will relinquish her concurrent role as Chief Financial Officer with effect from 1 October 2026, to focus on her leadership of TSG," the company said.

Currently serving as Group CFO at Mapletree Investments, Koh brings more than 30 years of experience spanning finance, capital markets, and corporate strategy. Her appointment comes as Temasek continues to emphasize disciplined capital management and long-term value creation across its global portfolio.

In announcing the leadership change, Temasek highlighted Koh’s extensive financial expertise and strategic experience, noting that her background will support the firm's ongoing efforts to strengthen financial stewardship and deliver sustainable returns.

As part of the transition, Png Chin Yee will relinquish her CFO duties on 1 October 2026 while continuing in her role as President of Temasek Singapore. In that capacity, she oversees the investment firm's Singapore-based portfolio companies, focusing on enhancing performance, driving value creation, and generating long-term returns across the portfolio.

Temasek also expressed appreciation for Png’s contributions during her tenure as CFO, acknowledging her leadership in overseeing the organization’s financial management while balancing her broader responsibilities within the firm.
