Accor names Ronald Dooremalen as Vice President People & Culture Operations for Asia

Dooremalen brings a wealth of regional operations leadership experience to drive people strategy, capability building, and culture transformation across Accor’s expanding hotel operations in Asia.
Accor has announced the appointment of Ronald Dooremalen as Vice President, People & Culture Operations for Asia, effective January 2026, strengthening its leadership bench as the hospitality group continues to expand its regional footprint.

Confirming the development on LinkedIn, Dooremalen shared, “I’m delighted to share that I’ve been appointed Vice President, People & Culture Operations, Asia,” adding that he looks forward to collaborating closely with Accor’s Asia Operations leadership to drive impactful people strategies, enhance capability, and deliver strong performance across the group’s hotel portfolio in the region.
Expressing gratitude to senior leadership, he acknowledged the collective support that shaped his professional journey with the organisation.

With more than two decades of global hospitality and people leadership experience, Dooremalen brings deep expertise in workforce strategy, operations excellence, and organisational development. He joined Accor in July 2022 and has since held key leadership responsibilities across Southeast Asia, overseeing Japan, South Korea, India, Singapore, Philippines and Maldives.
Before Accor, he held senior roles with Orchard Hill Residences Singapore, Raffles Singapore, Fairmont Raffles Hotels International in Dubai, and has also contributed to hospitality excellence across Poland, Seychelles, the UK, and wider Asia, including at The Savoy.
Recognised as a dynamic and strategic leader, Dooremalen is known for his capability to drive transformation, elevate service excellence, and build high-performing, future-ready teams across multicultural environments.
His academic background includes International Hospitality Management from Hotelschool The Hague and Digital Marketing from NUS Business School Executive Education.
With this appointment, Accor reinforces its commitment to nurturing talent, strengthening organisational culture, and supporting its ambitious growth journey across Asia.
