Based in Hong Kong, he has worked his way through various HR functions at AIA.

AIA Singapore this week announced the appointment of Owen Addison as Chief Human Resources Officer, succeeding Aileen Tan who is retiring at the end of September. He will officially take over the role on 1 October 2025, reporting to CEO Wong Sze Keed.
Addison has spent his entire career in financial services, including Goldman Sachs and PwC. He joined AIA Group Human Resources in 2017 as associate director of executive compensation and equity, later moving up to lead human resources planning. He is currently director of human resources, serving as HR business partner to Group Technology and Operations, AIA New Zealand, and AIA Sri Lanka, and also leading the Group CHRO Office.
According to AIA Singapore, Aileen Tan will not step back from the company entirely, but will move on to head the People and Culture team at Amplify Health, AIA's insurtech business launched in 2022 in partnership with Discovery Group.
"Aileen has been a guiding light for our organisation, and her immense contributions will continue to be felt for years to come. We wish her all the best as she embarks on another phase," said AIA Singapore CEO Wong.
AIA Singapore recently launched its inaugural sustainability report, which includes a detailed explanation of the company's people and culture policies and practices including a commitment to inclusion and employees' career development.
