Belden appoints Adeline Quek as Director of People for SEA, NA, ANZ and Strategic Capability Building

Quek joined Belden in 2019 and has been responsible for overseeing the HR function and implementing strategic HR initiatives across Southeast Asia, Australia, New Zealand and North Asia.
Belden has elevated Adeline Quek to the role of Director of People for Southeast Asia (SEA), North Asia (NA), Australia and New Zealand (ANZ), and Strategic Capability Building, effective immediately, as part of its ongoing leadership and people strategy initiatives.
Quek announced the transition, sharing that she will move from her previous role as Director, People for SEA, NA, ANZ and India, to take on the expanded strategic capability building portfolio alongside her regional responsibilities.
“I’m excited to share that I will be transitioning from Director, People for SEA NA ANZ & India, to Director, People for SEA NA ANZ & Strategic Capability Building,” Quek said. “I’m deeply grateful for the diverse opportunities I’ve been given across regions. Each experience has shaped my perspective and strengthened my passion for building strong, people-centric organisations.”
She also thanked Belden’s leadership and India teams for their support and collaboration during her tenure overseeing the India HR function and regional people strategy.
As part of the leadership transition, Quek also announced that Prasad Prabhakar will step into the role of Director of People for the India region. She noted that she looks forward to continuing to build impactful capabilities and enabling both employees and the business to thrive in her new role.
Quek joined Belden in 2019 and has been responsible for overseeing the HR function and implementing strategic HR initiatives across Southeast Asia, Australia, New Zealand and North Asia. She has worked closely with leadership teams to build a culture aligned with business growth and organisational strategy.
Prior to joining Belden, she held HR leadership roles at Calvin Klein in Singapore, where she oversaw HR services for the retail and commercial teams in Singapore and Malaysia, and at Nike, where she served as Senior HR Manager and was part of the APAC HR Shared Services start-up team in Singapore as Senior HR Advisor.
On the academic front, Quek holds a Bachelor of Science in Business from the University of London and a Diploma in Business Informatics from Nanyang Polytechnic. She is also a Certified Facilitator from Development Dimensions International.
