Colin Png joins SAP as Chief Marketing Officer and SVP, Asia Pacific

Png brings more than three decades of experience across technology, marketing and business leadership in Southeast Asia and other key markets.
SAP has appointed Colin Png as Chief Marketing Officer and Senior Vice President for the Asia Pacific region, effective immediately. Png joins the global enterprise AI solutions company after serving as Vice President of Marketing, Asia Pacific and Japan at UiPath for over three years.
Announcing the move on LinkedIn, Png wrote, “Today I begin a new chapter as Chief Marketing Officer and Senior Vice President at SAP Asia Pacific. SAP’s mission, scale, and ambition — across one of the world’s most dynamic and fast-evolving regions — make this a moment to step in and drive real impact.”
He added that he looks forward to being part of Ada Agrait’s global marketing leadership team and working closely with Simon Davies and the APAC go-to-market organisation to help customers “run better, transform faster, and turn Business AI into measurable business impact.”
In his new role, Png brings more than three decades of experience across technology, marketing and business leadership in Southeast Asia and other key markets.
At UiPath, he led end-to-end marketing strategy and go-to-market initiatives, supporting the company’s growth and expansion across Asia Pacific and Japan. Reflecting on his exit from UiPath, Png shared, “After four meaningful years, I’m closing a chapter at UiPath. I’m deeply proud of what our APJ Marketing team delivered — impact, trust with the business, and momentum across a diverse and complex landscape. But what I’ll value most isn’t the programs or the metrics. It’s the people I had the privilege to lead and learn from.”
Prior to UiPath, Png held senior leadership roles at VMware for over eight years, Riverbed Technology as Vice President of Marketing in Singapore, HP as Vice President of Enterprise Marketing for APAC-Japan, and Microsoft, where he spent more than a decade in business and marketing operations roles across Southeast Asia.
Notably, this appointment marks a return to SAP, where Png previously spent four years as Vice President of Marketing and Business Management for Asia Pacific and Japan.
Academically, Png holds an MBA from Tsinghua University and an MBA from INSEAD, along with a bachelor’s degree from Victoria Junior College. He is an Accredited Director with the Singapore Institute of Directors and holds the SMU-SID Board Executive Certificate in Directorship from SMU-ExD Executive Development.
