Delta Electronics accelerates Southeast Asia and Oceania expansion with new leadership appointments

Jason Yuan has been named President, SEA & ANZ, brining over 30 years of experience in IT, digital innovation, and business transformation, to steer company’s next growth phase in the region.
The power management and smart green solutions provider said it is appointing new regional and country leadership, opening additional offices, and expanding local teams to accelerate execution and deepen customer engagement across key markets. A central plank of the strategy is the transition toward country leaders of local nationality, aimed at improving market responsiveness and cultural alignment.
Accelerating Southeast Asia growth
Delta Electronics said the latest move marks a significant acceleration of its regional expansion, building on an already established footprint in Southeast Asia.
The company is strengthening its presence through new offices and increased manpower in Vietnam and Malaysia. At the same time, it is expanding teams and operations in Indonesia, the Philippines, and Thailand to better support growing domestic demand.
The expanded local footprint is designed to support rapid industrialisation across the region and the rising need for smart, energy-efficient solutions spanning 16 critical industries. Priority focus areas include:
AI data centre infrastructure
Smart manufacturing
Smart microgrids
Sustainable buildings
EV charging and broader e-mobility solutions
Telecom power infrastructure
Leadership changes to drive next phase
To support the expansion, the company announced several senior leadership appointments across Southeast Asia and Oceania.
Jason Yuan has been named President, SEA & ANZ. Bringing nearly three decades of experience in information technology, digital innovation, and business transformation, Yuan is expected to steer the company’s next growth phase in the region. He succeeds Jackie Chang, who will now focus on his role as President and COO of Delta Electronics (Thailand), where he will lead the continued expansion of Thailand’s manufacturing operations.
David Leal has been appointed Vice-President of Solution Business (Infrastructure), SEA & ANZ. A long-time Delta Electronics leader, he will oversee business development for data centre infrastructure, smart energy solutions, organisational transformation, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic initiatives across priority sectors. He will report to Yuan.
Lili Mow, who brings more than 30 years of leadership experience in the power and electrical industry, has been named Vice-President of Solution Business (Automation), SEA & ANZ. She will drive growth and synergy across building and industrial automation in Southeast Asia and will also report to Yuan.
Strengthening country leadership
The company also unveiled a new slate of country managers to reinforce its localisation strategy. The new leaders will work alongside existing country heads Jimmy Wan (Singapore) and Tom Hew (Australia) to enhance on-the-ground customer and partner support.
New country managers include:
Atitaya Surapunthu - Thailand
Aritta Sinabang - Indonesia
Cris Vincent Del Mundo - Philippines
Eng Yong Chng - Malaysia
Viet-Dung Nguyen - Vietnam
The company said the shift toward more locally rooted leadership reflects its commitment to adapting global solutions to local market needs while responding more quickly to customers.
Commenting on the transition, Jackie Chang said Southeast Asia has made “great strides in advancing digitalisation, energy efficiency, and automation.”
“As we move into the next phase of growth, I believe the key to success lies in empowering leaders who understand their local markets and customers,” he said. “With Jason Yuan now taking the helm of the Southeast Asia region, I’m confident that Delta Electronics will continue to deepen its local presence, strengthen customer engagement, and drive sustainable growth.”
