Hyper, a US-based digital infrastructure company, has appointed Vineet Gambhir as its Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), strengthening its executive leadership team as the company accelerates its growth.

In his new role, Gambhir will lead Hyper's global people strategy, with responsibility for talent development, organisational growth, leadership capability, culture, workforce planning and employee experience. He will also focus on building the people and organisational foundations needed to support the company's next phase of expansion.

Gambhir joins Hyper with extensive global HR leadership experience spanning the technology, healthcare and retail sectors, as well as private equity-backed businesses and multinational organisations. His expertise includes organisational transformation, talent strategy, mergers and acquisitions integration, global expansion and culture building.

Before joining Hyper, Gambhir served as CHRO at DataLink, where he led the company's global people agenda during a period of rapid growth in the healthcare technology sector. He played a key role in developing its people strategy, supporting international expansion, establishing operations in India and driving cultural transformation.

Earlier in his career, Gambhir held senior HR leadership positions at GlobalLogic, Yahoo, Cisco, HCL Technologies and Intel, where he led workforce planning, leadership development and people transformation initiatives across global teams.

Commenting on his appointment, Gambhir said he was drawn to Hyper's growth trajectory and the opportunity to build a people strategy that evolves alongside the business.

"What drew me to Hyper is the opportunity to shape a people strategy that grows with the business. Hyper has the energy, ambition, and momentum of a company entering an important stage of growth. My focus is strengthening the culture, leadership systems, and employee experience that allow people to stay, grow, and do their best work," he said.

Hyper CEO Vladimir Gulkarov said Gambhir's appointment reinforces the company's commitment to investing in its people as it scales.

"The employee experience we create inside Hyper directly affects the experience we deliver to our customers. Vineet's leadership will help us reinforce that connection by supporting our people, improving how we work, and ensuring our teams have the structure they need to succeed," Gulkarov said.

Gambhir holds an MBA in Human Resources from the University of Maryland's Robert H. Smith School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Delhi College of Engineering. He also teaches at the University of Maryland.
