Longchamp appoints Thierry Kun as Head of HRBP Asia Pacific

Kun will oversee people development and culture, support market HR teams with their challenges, collaborate closely with the global team in France on strategic HR projects, and enhance employee engagement and more.

Longchamp, a global fashion retail company, has appointed Thierry Kun as Head of Human Resources Business Partner for Asia Pacific region, effective immediately. 

Sharing the news on LinkedIn, Kun posted, “I’m happy to share that I have started a new position as Head of Human Resources Business Partner - Asia Pacific with Longchamp. In my new role I will be working closely with Australia, Hong Kong, Macao, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea and Taiwan markets. Excited with this new journey.” 

In his new role, Kun brings over two decades of strategic leadership experience across government and private sectors. He will oversee people development and culture, support market HR teams with their challenges, collaborate closely with the global team in France on strategic HR projects, and enhance employee engagement, onboarding processes, and learning programs to drive organizational effectiveness. 

Before this appointment, Kun served Rosewood Hotel Group as Global Director of Talent Acquisition, leading top talent recruitment activity, developing and implementing EVP, Employer Brand, and Vendor management. 

Previously, Kun worked with BNP Paribas as Regional Head of Talent Acquisition for APAC, HSBC as Senior Recruitment Relationship Manager, Robert Walters and French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Hong Kong as a Consultant, and Societe Generele as Financial Advisor. 

On the academic front, he holds a bachelor degree in advertising, PR, and communications from École Supérieure de Publicité (ESP), a professional certificate in retail banking from Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, and a bachelor’s Degree in Information & Communication, Mass Communication / Media Studies from Sorbonne Paris North University.
