Michael Sirikul has joined KFC Thailand as Head of People & Culture, taking on responsibility for the company’s people strategy and culture agenda in the country.

Sirikul brings more than 15 years of experience across human resources, people strategy, talent management, organisational transformation and business leadership, with experience spanning Thailand and the wider Asia-Pacific region.

Announcing the move on LinkedIn, Sirikul described the appointment as a new chapter and an opportunity to contribute to the people and culture agenda of the KFC Thailand business.

“I’m excited to join an iconic brand with an incredible presence in Thailand,” he said, adding that he looked forward to working with the team to build a strong people and culture agenda supporting both employees and the business.

Sirikul joins KFC Thailand after serving as Regional Director of Human Resources – Asia at APX Luxury. His tenure at the company followed an ownership transition that led to significant organisational changes and an expansion of his responsibilities.

Reflecting on his departure, Sirikul said the experience had been an important lesson in change management, particularly in navigating organisational uncertainty and supporting employees through periods of transition.

Before APX Luxury, Sirikul held several senior leadership positions at ChaiXi Corporation and served as Country Head of People and Culture at CARSOME.

He also spent more than three years at JD CENTRAL, where his remit expanded beyond people and HR to include Corporate Strategy/PMO and Corporate Marketing.

Earlier in his career, Sirikul held regional HR leadership roles at JTI and RB and worked in talent and recruitment positions at Henkel, Diageo and PRTR Recruitment.

His experience covers HR business partnering, talent acquisition, succession planning, employer branding, people strategy and organisational transformation.

At KFC Thailand, Sirikul will bring this cross-functional and regional experience to the People & Culture leadership role as the company continues to focus on its workforce and organisational priorities.

The appointment adds another senior HR leader with broad regional experience to Thailand’s people and culture landscape, with Sirikul’s career having spanned both established multinational organisations and businesses undergoing significant transformation.
