One Workplace has appointed Gianna Driver as its new Chief People Officer, bringing in a seasoned HR leader to shape its people strategy at a time when organisations are rethinking the future of work.

Driver, who brings over two decades of experience in human resources and organisational leadership, will be responsible for advancing a culture that aligns employee experience with business performance. Her mandate includes fostering high-performing teams while strengthening the company’s focus on connection, well-being, and purpose.

She joins from OpenTable, where she served as Chief People Officer, and has previously held senior roles at Lattice and Exabeam. Over the course of her career, Driver has built a reputation for helping organisations scale through periods of transformation while maintaining a strong people-first ethos.

The appointment comes as companies grapple with the growing influence of artificial intelligence and shifting expectations around how and where work happens. Against this backdrop, One Workplace is positioning itself to emphasise the human experience within workplace design and organisational culture.

“Gianna brings an exceptional combination of strategic leadership and deep people expertise,” said Dave Albert, CEO of One Workplace. “Her perspective will be critical as we continue to build environments where culture, connection, and performance go hand in hand.”

Driver said her decision to join the company was rooted in its philosophy that physical and cultural work environments play a defining role in employee experience. She added that maintaining a human-centred approach is essential as technology continues to reshape the workplace.

Her appointment also marks a return of sorts—more than a decade ago, Driver engaged with One Workplace as a client during her time at Talend, offering her a unique perspective on the company’s evolution.

Beyond her corporate role, Driver serves on the board of Project PEARLS, a nonprofit focused on supporting underserved communities in the Philippines.

With this leadership move, One Workplace signals a continued focus on integrating people strategy with broader business transformation, as organisations navigate an increasingly complex and AI-driven future of work.
