ScanSource appoints Michael Webb as Chief Human Resources Officer

Webb as CHRO, brings over three decades of HR and strategic leadership experience to drive people strategy, talent development, and organisational growth.

ScanSource has announced the appointment of Michael Webb as Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), as the company looks to advance its people strategy and support long-term growth.


Webb brings more than 30 years of experience in human resources leadership and organisational development across public and private companies, with a strong track record in guiding international organisations.


In his new role, Webb will lead the company’s People & Culture team, overseeing talent, recruitment and compensation strategies, while supporting employee success and strengthening organisational effectiveness. He will also work closely with leadership to enhance succession planning and leadership development.

Webb will report directly to Baur in his new role.

Prior to joining ScanSource, Webb served as Senior Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer at Rogers Corporation, where he led human resources along with corporate development and strategy. Earlier in his career, he held HR and talent leadership roles at HSBC and Morgan Stanley.
