Xu’s appointment strengthens SharkNinja’s HR leadership as the company accelerates growth, invests in workforce capability, and builds its ‘outrageously extraordinary’ culture across Asia-Pacific.

SharkNinja has brought on experienced HR leader Carol Xu as its Chief People Officer for Asia Pacific, strengthening the company’s leadership bench at a time when it is rapidly expanding its footprint across the region. Xu, who announced the move in a recent LinkedIn update, joins the consumer technology company at a time when it is expanding its innovation-led product portfolio and strengthening its people strategy to support sustained growth.

In her new mandate, Xu will oversee regional people strategy, organisational development, and culture-building initiatives aimed at supporting SharkNinja’s ambition to create what it calls an “Outrageously Extraordinary” workplace. Her focus areas include developing workforce capability, strengthening leadership pipelines, and aligning HR programmes with SharkNinja’s operational scale-up across APAC.

Xu brings nearly five years of experience from Zuellig Pharma, where she most recently served as Executive Vice President and Chief People Officer. During her previous role, Xu led several large-scale HR transformation initiatives, including organisational restructuring, redesigning company-wide people processes, and introducing new digital HR systems. These efforts helped stabilise operations, lowered voluntary attrition, and improved engagement levels across multiple teams.

Before her role at Zuellig Pharma, Xu held senior HR positions at Lazada Group under the Alibaba ecosystem. She led people strategy for one of the region’s largest e-logistics operations, built workforce systems for frontline and operational employees, and supported company-wide digital and cultural transformation initiatives across seven markets. Her earlier career includes HR leadership roles in Singapore’s corporate landscape, spanning IPO-readiness consulting, rewards optimisation, M&A integration, and large-scale workforce planning.

Xu noted that she looks forward to contributing to SharkNinja’s mission of creating a positive impact on people’s lives while supporting the company’s next phase of growth in Asia-Pacific.
