Borgonovo brings more than 20 years of global experience in talent management, leadership development, organisational effectiveness, and culture transformation.
Victoria’s Secret & Co. has announced the appointment of Lucrecia Borgonovo as Chief People Officer, marking a significant leadership move as the company continues its organisational transformation and growth strategy.
Borgonovo joins the company after an eight-year tenure at Mastercard, where she most recently served as Chief Talent and Organizational Effectiveness Officer, leading enterprise-wide talent, culture, and organisational effectiveness strategies during a period of large-scale transformation and growth.
Announcing her move, Borgonovo reflected on her time at Mastercard with gratitude, acknowledging colleagues and leadership for their support and collaboration during her tenure. She highlighted the impact of working with teams across the organisation and contributing to the company’s culture and transformation journey.

Borgonovo brings more than 20 years of global experience in talent management, leadership development, organisational effectiveness, and culture transformation. During her time at Mastercard, she played a key role in shaping enterprise talent strategies and supporting the company’s transformation and growth agenda.
Prior to Mastercard, she held leadership roles at Nike and Bristol-Myers Squibb, working across global, regional, and market-level HR roles, including HR business partnering and Centers of Excellence.
Her appointment comes at a time when Victoria’s Secret & Co. is focusing on organisational transformation, culture, and leadership as part of its long-term growth strategy, with Borgonovo expected to play a key role in shaping the company’s people strategy and organisational culture in the coming years.
