EDOTCO appoints Sunil Issac as Philippines Country Managing Director

EDOTCO is strengthening its presence in the Philippines with the appointment of Sunil Issac as Country Managing Director, as the digital infrastructure company looks to accelerate growth in a market it has identified as a key priority within its regional portfolio.

Issac brings more than three decades of experience across the telecommunications and infrastructure sectors in Asia. In his new role, he will focus on driving growth in the Philippines, strengthening customer partnerships and improving operational performance.

The appointment comes as demand for resilient, shared and future-ready digital infrastructure continues to increase across the country. EDOTCO currently operates and manages more than 3,000 towers and sites nationwide, providing a foundation for its next phase of expansion.

Beyond its tower portfolio, the company said its focus in the Philippines will include strengthening network resilience, expanding infrastructure sharing and supporting the adoption of new technologies. It will also work with customers and partners to support the country's broader digital infrastructure needs.

Commenting on his appointment, Issac said he was grateful to EDOTCO Group for the trust placed in him and described the move as “a new country, a new responsibility, and a new chapter.”

He added that he looks forward to listening and learning while working closely with colleagues, customers and partners to help shape the future of digital infrastructure in the Philippines.

The leadership change comes as telecommunications infrastructure providers face growing demand to support expanding connectivity, digital services and technology adoption. For EDOTCO, the Philippines is now positioned as an important market for its regional growth strategy, with the company looking to build on its existing footprint while deepening relationships across the ecosystem.
