Dahua Technology and YAROOMS join hands to improve hybrid workplace efficiency

Dahua Technology, a global video-centric AIoT solution company, has announced a technology partnership with YAROOMS aimed at improving workplace visibility and office space utilisation in hybrid work environments.

The collaboration marks a milestone for both companies, with YAROOMS becoming Dahua’s first official ecosystem partner for the Dahua DeepHub meeting scheduling screen. The partnership integrates YAROOMS’ workplace management platform with Dahua’s digital display and room panel technology to help organisations better manage meeting rooms, desks, and office space usage.

The joint solution combines YAROOMS’ real-time booking and workplace analytics platform with Dahua’s DeepHub digital signage and meeting room panels. The integration allows employees and facility managers to instantly view live space availability across office locations, helping reduce scheduling conflicts and underutilised office space.

The companies said the solution is designed to address common hybrid workplace challenges, including disconnected booking systems, unused meeting rooms, and inefficient office space planning.

According to the companies, the integrated system provides a “single source of truth” for office utilisation data and is particularly suited for large enterprises, security-sensitive organisations, and companies managing multiple conference rooms across global offices.

The system also enables automatic release of unused meeting rooms if a booking is not used, helping organisations reduce wasted space and improve overall office efficiency.

"Research cited by the companies suggests that up to 40% of booked meeting rooms go unused due to no-shows or inefficient scheduling." The new integration aims to address this issue by using occupancy and booking data to update room availability in real time.
