Global banking giant JPMorganChase has appointed Aditi Mahadevan Nair as Head of Human Resources for Singapore, marking a new chapter in the seasoned HR executive’s career following her recent departure from Barclays.
Nair announced the move in a LinkedIn post, sharing that she had officially started in her new role this week and expressing enthusiasm about the opportunities ahead.
“Delighted to share that I have started a new role with JPMorganChase as HR Head of Singapore, this week,” she wrote. “My first few days have been filled with warm welcomes and great energy.”
She also highlighted her interactions with the bank’s HR leadership team, praising their commitment to people and technology and noting that their recent visit made her transition especially memorable.
“Feeling incredibly excited about the journey ahead and for the opportunity to listen, learn, contribute, build partnerships and make an impact,” Nair added.
The appointment comes shortly after Nair concluded a four-year stint at Barclays, where she most recently served as Managing Director and Head of HR for Asia Pacific. Announcing her departure last week, she reflected on her tenure with the bank, describing it as an “unforgettable” journey shaped by supportive leaders, trusted colleagues and transformative opportunities.
Before joining Barclays, Nair spent more than 17 years with Citi, where she held a series of senior HR leadership positions across India and the Asia-Pacific region. Her responsibilities included serving as CHRO for India and South Asia and APAC Head of Talent, Learning and Diversity.
With more than two decades of experience spanning banking and telecommunications, she has built expertise in talent management, organisational development, diversity and inclusion, and strategic human resources leadership.
Her appointment reinforces JPMorganChase’s focus on strengthening leadership across its people function in Singapore, a key financial hub in the Asia-Pacific region.
