OpenMove AI Bhd, formerly known as Rexit Bhd, has appointed Steven Lim Kee Seng as its group chief executive officer, effective October 1, 2026, media reports said.
Current CEO Gallen Lee Choon Teng will take on the role of business CEO, focusing on the group’s existing software-as-a-service (SaaS) business.
Leadership changes
In a statement, the SaaS company said, “The appointments are part of the reorganisation of the group’s senior leadership team to support its strategic plans to broaden its revenue streams.”
Lim brings more than 30 years of experience in national security solutions, corporate restructuring, information and communications technology development, transformation and strategic business development across the ASEAN region.
He previously served as group CEO of TIME Engineering Bhd, now known as Dagang NeXchange Bhd, chief corporate strategy officer at Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation, formerly Multimedia Development Corp, and senior regional business consultant at NEC Asia Pacific.
Focus on new growth areas
The group said the leadership realignment will support its expansion into artificial intelligence, data analytics, cloud solutions and automation across the financial, insurance, enterprise and public sectors.
Separately, Nicholas Tan Chin Yau will resign as chief operating officer, effective October 1, to pursue other personal goals and interests.
