Leadership
The case for Southeastern countries to build on their leadership capabilities

The Southeastern economy which is rushing towards the status of a third world economy will face a significant setback if a liberal leadership system is not introduced in their work culture.
All Southeastern countries except Thailand have had a history of colonization, and it has inspired the education system in these countries. But these education systems which produce technically qualified individuals who are readily accommodated in the growing economies of these countries, fail to instill leadership qualities in their pupils.
Southeastern countries like Indonesia, Philippines, Cambodia, and Vietnam, etc have work cultures which still adhere to the stringent policies of hierarchy which is embedded in their ethnicity and culture. But to a rookie employee, these practices with an all-powerful boss mentality can seem a bit overbearing towards the ethnic side in a professional environment. This cultural hierarchy presents a leadership system based on seniority and age and also demands respect from subordinates in every action creating a wide gap between leaders and their team members. The Southeastern economy which is rushing towards the status of a third world economy will face a significant setback if a liberal leadership system is not introduced in their work culture.
Leadership capabilities
In a work culture injected with hierarchy and an education system which focuses only on the academic mentoring of students cannot contribute to the end result of effective leadership. These Southeastern countries outsource human resources from neighboring countries like China and India to fill in leadership roles according to a study by ResearchGate. This situation of outsourcing is hard criticism towards the leadership capabilities of the Southeastern countries, who needs to address this issue immediately. Because turning a blind eye towards this issue can result in job theft where the citizen of the country will always have to come second in command to administer something as the prime roles will be played by those who show leadership qualities and was probably outsourced.
So in a hypothetical situation where the leadership problems are never addressed, it will play an imminent role in the economy of India and China as more finance flies into the country’s economy rather than benefitting the economy of the country involved in the money making process.
Reorganize and redesign
The first of the table during the reorganization would be the system of hierarchy, no questions asked. And the answer to the question of what is to be redesigned? would be “the whole system.” The whole system of administration should be cleansed off ethnicity, and the entire education must open up into mentorship programs which help in the development of soft skills and effective leadership. This will check out the school system to be a holistic one dedicated to the production of pupils with academic and leadership qualities.
The redesigning in the administration section would instill young blood into offices, who are willing to act fast and learn from failures even quicker and also take aversive risk measures when it concerns the company in its essential sections.
This use of young blood in the administration is also done with the idea that these young recruits will also become immensely experienced decision makers who will then be handling positions with more responsibilities. A prime example which can be taken into account on mentoring programs offered are sites like the Good men project, which can be employed for immediate mentoring.
Effects of redesigning on leadership
It can be easily recognized that the companies which are leading at the forefront with impressive will be housing plenty of effective and influential leaders. This also results in stronger financial performance, higher employee engagement and diverse, inclusive cultures. And the performance of these companies can be taken as some substantial evidence of redesigning of the administration trends in the Southeastern countries and these firms which achieved better results are mostly startups which pamper a free and liberated work culture, which gives a sense of collective being of all the members or the employees.
This understanding also comes with the explicit recognition of how more money has been flowing into startups compared to the years before. This clearly gives the notion that it is high time for young leaders to step and the lead the way to their older generation to teach them the techniques of modern business. The time for young and influential leaders is here to step up.
