Aliaxis appoints Peter Van Bylen as EVP EMEA

Aliaxis has appointed Peter Van Bylen as Executive Vice President (EVP) EMEA and member of the Executive Committee, effective 1 June 2026.

The appointment marks a significant leadership transition for the global fluid management solutions company as it continues to strengthen its operations and transformation strategy across the EMEA region, as cited by the firm. 

Bylen brings more than a decade of experience within Aliaxis and is widely recognised across the organisation for his strategic leadership, commercial expertise and people-first approach.

Strategic focus

Announcing the appointment, Thierry Vanlancker, Managing Director, Aliaxis highlighted Van Bylen’s deep understanding of the business and his ability to lead transformation initiatives across markets.

“Peter has a strong strategic mindset, knows our business extremely well, and leads by listening carefully to our customers and our people. His ability to connect teams, drive transformation and execute with discipline will be critical as we continue to strengthen our EMEA strategy.”

Bylen will now take charge of Aliaxis’ EMEA operations at a time when businesses across the region are navigating market shifts, sustainability priorities and increasing customer demand for efficient water and energy management solutions.

Growth journey

He joined Aliaxis in 2013 after working at Boston Consulting Group, where he advised organisations on strategy, transformation and capability building.

During his tenure at Aliaxis, he has held several senior leadership positions spanning strategy, business development and commercial operations. He previously served as Head of Business Development, Marketing and Strategy at Ashirvad, where he led commercial excellence and strategic marketing initiatives.

He later became Global Head of Strategy before moving into the EMEA division.

Commercial expertise

Most recently, Bylen served as VP Commercial, Northern Region and France, EMEA, where he played a key role in driving commercial performance and supporting the region’s wider transformation journey.

His appointment comes as Aliaxis continues to sharpen its focus on customer-centric growth, operational excellence and long-term sustainability across international markets.

Known for his collaborative leadership style and commitment to people development, Bylen is expected to play a central role in accelerating the company’s strategic priorities in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

He holds a Master’s degree in Commercial Engineering from the University of Antwerp and a Master’s degree in European Studies from the University of Bath.
