Keva appoints Avik Ghosh as HR Head–Asia as the fragrance and flavour maker sharpens its leadership and talent strategy across key growth markets.

Avik Ghosh has taken on a new role as HR Head – Asia at Keva – Fragrances, Flavours & Aroma Ingredients, marking a senior leadership appointment as the Indian-origin company accelerates its regional expansion.

Ghosh confirmed the move in a LinkedIn post, saying he would lead people and organisational priorities across Asia at a time when the company is scaling its international footprint. Keva operates at the intersection of science, creativity and consumer experience, supplying fragrance, flavour and aroma ingredients to global and domestic markets.

The appointment comes as Keva continues to invest in leadership depth and organisational capability across Asia’s diverse and fast-growing consumer markets. The region is critical for fragrance and flavour makers, driven by demand from food and beverage, personal care and home care companies, alongside evolving local tastes.

Ghosh brings over 18 years of HR and enterprise leadership experience across energy, FMCG and manufacturing sectors in Asia and emerging markets. Prior to joining Keva, he served as Executive Director at Anvil Energy, where he led enterprise functions and supported the scale-up of a rooftop solar business. Before that, he spent more than a decade at Kerry, most recently as Regional HR Director for Southeast Asia and ANZ, overseeing people strategy for a €650 million-plus regional business.

In his announcement, Ghosh said Asia’s cultural and market diversity made the role particularly compelling, adding that he looked forward to working with teams across the region to strengthen leadership, talent and organisational capability as Keva expands globally.

Keva has not disclosed whether the appointment is linked to specific expansion plans, but industry watchers note that talent strategy and leadership readiness are becoming increasingly central as ingredient manufacturers navigate supply-chain volatility, regulatory scrutiny and shifting consumer preferences.

Ghosh is based in Singapore and will work in a hybrid capacity. His appointment underscores Keva’s focus on building senior HR leadership aligned with growth, innovation and cross-market integration in Asia.
