Domino’s Pizza Enterprises names Merrill Pereyra CEO

Former APAC adviser takes charge of Domino’s Australia and New Zealand business as the group refocuses on scale, operations and franchise performance.
Merrill Pereyra has been appointed chief executive officer of Domino’s Pizza Enterprises, taking charge of the group’s Australia and New Zealand operations, the company confirmed.
Pereyra will lead Domino’s largest and most established markets, which together account for more than 880 stores. His remit spans sales performance, profitability, operational execution, franchisee relationships and brand stewardship, as the business seeks to strengthen its core markets.
In a post on LinkedIn, Pereyra said he was “happy to share” that he was starting his new role as chief executive officer at Domino’s Pizza Enterprises Limited, adding that he intended to lead with “humility, clarity, and purpose.”
The appointment comes at a time when Domino’s Pizza Enterprises has been under pressure to sharpen execution in its core geographies, after a period marked by cost inflation, shifting consumer demand and closer scrutiny of franchise economics. Australia and New Zealand remain central to the group’s earnings and brand identity.
Before taking up the role, Pereyra worked as a strategic adviser across the Asia-Pacific region. In that capacity, he partnered with boards, investors and operators on mergers, acquisitions and broader strategic initiatives, according to his public profile.
His advisory background is expected to inform Domino’s next phase, as the company balances scale with operational discipline in highly competitive quick-service restaurant markets.
Pereyra now steps into the top role with responsibility for stabilising performance in mature markets while laying the groundwork for sustainable, customer-led growth, as Domino’s navigates an increasingly price-sensitive and operationally complex environment.
