Zoom appoints Carlos Quaderi Head of APAC to lead AI-powered business growth

Zoom Communications has named Carlos Quaderi as its new Head of Asia Pacific (APAC), effective 1 August 2026, reinforcing the company's commitment to one of its fastest-growing regions as demand for AI-powered workplace solutions continues to rise.

Quaderi will report to Graeme Geddes, Zoom's Chief Sales and Growth Officer, and will lead the company's go-to-market strategy across Australia and New Zealand, Asia, India and Korea, excluding Japan.

His expanded remit includes driving growth across the customer experience (CX) business, the small and medium-sized business (SMB) segment and the partner ecosystem.

Previously serving as Zoom's Head of Asia, Quaderi led regional strategy and sales execution across Southeast Asia, Hong Kong SAR and Taiwan. 

In his new role, he will work closely with regional and global leadership teams to accelerate business growth and deepen customer engagement across the wider APAC market.

A technology industry veteran with more than 30 years of experience, Quaderi has held senior leadership positions at Workday, Amazon Web Services and Microsoft, where he led enterprise growth and go-to-market initiatives across Asia Pacific and Japan. He will remain based in Singapore while continuing to oversee Zoom's Asia business during the transition.

Strengthening AI-led growth across APAC

The appointment comes as organisations across the region increasingly invest in AI-enabled platforms that simplify workflows, connect business applications and help teams work more efficiently.

Investing in long-term regional expansion

The leadership change aligns with Zoom's broader investment strategy in Asia Pacific, which includes expanding its partner network and opening a new office in Singapore. 

Through its open platform ecosystem, the company aims to help organisations integrate AI-powered collaboration tools with existing business applications to enhance productivity, improve customer experiences and support long-term digital transformation across the region.
